In this unit you will examine the volume of several solids. You will develop and apply formulas for the volume of cubes, prisms, cones, cylinders, pyramids, and spheres. You will investigate Cavalieri’s Principle and its applications to right and oblique solids. You will also examine congruent and similar solids. |
