GRAPHING TRIGONOMETRIC FUNCTIONS

In a previous unit, we examined how to evaluate the six trigonometric ratios from a right triangle inscribed in a unit circle. Specifically, seventeen critical angle values were examined and the values of the sine, cosine, tangent, etc. were evaluated for these angles. In this unit, we will plot those results on a graph and define a characteristic curve for each of the six relationships. Later we will examine the standard equation of a trigonometric curve and adjust the components of that equation to vary the shape of the standard graphs.
