Unit Overview

Every participating country entered World War I confident in a quick victory, but these hopes were dashed as the war dragged into a long and destructive stalemate.  The Great War, as it was called, amazed nearly everyone with its global scope and ferocious intensity.  Both sides exhausted their manpower, industrial capacity, and natural resources in the process.  Let’s see how it all happened.
