Gloria Closser graduated in 1969 from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and in 1972 from West Virginia University with a Master of Education.
Gloria began her career as a first grade teacher at Indian Creek Local School District in Mingo Junction. Her next 29 years, she worked at Buckeye Local School Districts in Rayland, as a High School Media Specialist, K-12 Media Supervisor, K-12 Technology Coordinator, District Administrative Assistant and Japanese Facilitator. Upon retiring from Buckeye Local, she worked seven years for Ohio SchoolNet as an eleven county technology consultant. In 2004, she began working with the Jefferson County Educational Service Center as a VLA Curriculum Specialist.
