Jennifer Bruce graduated from Malone College with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She holds a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from Malone College.
Jennifer began her career as a fifth grade teacher at East Sparta Elementary School in the Sandy Valley Local School District. She moved back to Belmont County to teach at Union Local Elementary School. She taught one year in the K-5 computer lab and then returned to teaching fifth grade. Jennifer then worked as the Technology Coordinator at the Belmont County Educational Service Center, where she trained teachers to use technology in their classrooms. Jennifer joined the Jefferson County Educational Service Center in July of 2006 where she works with the Virtual Learning Academy.
Jennifer's current duties at the JCESC include developing and enhancing VLA curriculum and working with new VLA course authors. She also helps to provide training and support for participating VLA school districts.
