Bonnie Moore graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (1999) and a minor in mathematics. She also has an associate’s degree in Applied Business (1991) from Muskingum Area Technical College. 

Bonnie is currently a Multimedia Specialist for the Virtual Learning Academy.   Prior to working with the Virtual Learning Academy, Bonnie was employed by Qwest Communications, Dublin, Ohio, where she worked as an ATM/Frame Relay Engineer. She then moved into the Data Networking Engineering Department where her principal responsibility was creating Engineering Design Packages for the implementation and deployment of IP equipment. Bonnie has also worked as a graphic artist in the Quality Engineering Department at the Colgate-Palmolive Company, Cambridge, Ohio, where she designed troubleshooting specifications for field technicians.

Bonnie’s duties with VLA include the following in the mathematics curriculum:  develops and enhances teaching units in collaboration with a National Board Certified Teacher, develops interactive content modules, and applies various multimedia and web design software to enhance the overall content of the VLA curriculum.  Bonnie also uploads finalized lessons to the VLA database, composes and maintains in-house technical reference and copyright documentation, assists with summer teacher-training technology courses, and provides technical support to the VLA staff as needed.
